Pony Camp

Ages 5 - 9

Pony camp is a mini-camp designed to introduce the younger
rider to the basics of horsemanship and riding in a safe,
fun-filled environment.

Each young rider will receive a daily riding lesson along with
hands-on lessons and classes in pony care and handling.

At DDF, we like to incorporate a lot of games, quizzes,
crafts, and projects to reinforce learning.

Like all of our horsemanship camps, we work to instill
confidence through education. Riders progress quickly
with daily instruction.

Enrollment in camp is limited to ensure personal attention
and safety. Our staff is made up of trained in-house upper
level riders that are young and energetic. The counselor/rider
ratio is 1:1 while riding.

We strongly believe that a quality start for young riders can
lead to a lifetime of riding enjoyment.

The week concludes with a riding demo and ice cream social
for the family.

Camp dates for 2010
1st session: June 28 - July 2
2nd session: July 19 - 23
3rd session: August 2 - 6

Camp hours are Monday - Friday from 1:00-4:00 pm

Cost
$200.00 for one session
$375.00 for two sessions or two children
$550.00 for all three weeks
